Division of Affinity Proteomics The research at the Division of Affinity Proteomics at SciLifeLab is based on the combined activities in Nilsson lab and Schwenk lab. These are focused on the development and utilization of various high-throughput and multiplex assays for profiling and analysis of proteins and autoantibodies in plasma, serum and CSF.
The application of technologies to identify and quantify proteins is crucial in early disease diagnosis, prognosis, and drug development. Finally, we revealed the biological processes and metabolic functions carried out by these genes through the use of GO, KEGG Pathway, and HMR2.0 that is compilation of the human metabolic reactions. We demonstrated the results of the combined analysis of the transcriptomics and affinity proteomics. With strong roots in the European Affinity Proteomics community, we are also the organisers of the 9th Alpbach Workshop in Affinity Proteomics. The first Arrayjet Webinar series highlighting novel arraying techniques utilising power of the Arrayjet Marathon series of printers. We will be focussing on our Key Opinion Leaders, their techniques and the end applications for their research. For our first webinar Arrayjet welcomes Ronald Sjöberg from the KTH affinity proteomics group at SciLifeLab in Stockholm to […]
found that the affinity proteomics data identified a number of protein interactors that co-enriched with the phosphatase enzymes under examination, with around 10% of the data reported elsewhere in research literature. Their new affinity proteomics approach also identified new phosphatase interactions such as DLC1 and ATM. Proteomics is the analysis of the entire protein complement of a cell, tissue, organism, or species.
APOSTL is an interactive affinity proteomics analysis software developed to reformat affinity proteomics data (both spectral counting and MS1) for input into the SAINTexpress statistical package and to visualize the output(s). - bornea/APOSTL
